Authentic Hawaiian dimes are dated 1883 not 1888. Look at the coin again and post new question.
That varies a lot, depending upon the condition of the coin, also is it 1/4 1/2 or one dollar? It is a quarter in EF condition
Lowest value would be $15.00 just for the silver.
about $25 depending on condition and mint mark
A 1888 small cent coin is valued: Good condition-$1.50, Fine condition-$4.00, Uncirculated-$40.00 Proof-$160.00 There is also some 1888 small cent coins that were minted 1888 with the last 8 spamped over a seven and these are more valuable: Very Good condition-$650.00, Fine condition-$1,000.00, Uncirculated-$8,000.00.
I will put a value of $420.00 retail on this coin. That's the value of a Extremely Fine graded Quarter Eagle dated 1888
It has a value from $65-$11,000 depending on the exact grade of the coin.
July 26, 2009 An 1888-S Morgan silver dollar in a good circulated condition [much wear] has a value of about $145. If it is good enough to be almost uncirculated [almost no wear] it has a value of about $300.
Apart from the value of its gold content, the value of the coin depends almost entirely on its condition. Unfortunately, the latter is highly subjective.
The 1888 was never made in .38-55. If your gun is marked 38W, then it is a .38-40, if it's marked .38-55, then it is not an 1888, but probably a 1893. No way to give you a value, as I don't know what you've got, nor could I tell you without a few pictures of the gun. The 1888 was only offered in .44-40, .38-40, and .32-20, not .38-55. Values depend on the model, and condition. If your gun is a .38-55, it is not an 1888, so I don't know what model you have.
According to the ninth edition of Flaydermans Guide to Antique firearms it ranges from $950.00 in very good condition to $3000 in excellent condition. There were less than 5000 manufactured.
what is 1888 brodrafolkenval worth
Assuming the coin is circulated, the 1888-O Morgan dollar is a common New Orleans Mint Morgan dollar. For an accurate assessment of value the coin needs to be seen and graded. In general retail values for low grade coins are $32.00-$34.00, better grade are $35.00-$40.00 and coins showing almost no wear run from $41.00-$44.00. Values are a market average and only for coins in collectible condition, coins that are bent, corroded, scratched, used as jewelery or have been cleaned have far less value if any to a collector or dealer.
