100 to 500. Maybe more if it left the factory that way.
50-150 USD or so
Impossible to answer. Are you referrring to a 25ACP or 9MM?
If it letters as leaving Colt that way, quite a bit. You are in the 500-1500 range
No, because a plated metal is not a mixture of elements.
10-200 usd; 1944
The contemporary manual can opener is mostly steel. It may be plated with nickel or chrome. Handles may be plastic, wood or vinyl if they are not all steel.
probably some time after it was made. the military model was not nickel plated.
Colt did not introduce the Official Police until 1927, although the earliest production used frames originally made for the Army Special from 1925 and 1926. That serial number, however, would date to 1932. Nickel plated guns were offered, although it would be exceptionally rare to find one in excellent condition. We would check it very thorougly, under magnification, to be sure the nickel plating was factory original. If it IS factory original nickel, in truly excellent condition, we'd put a $400 price tag on it. If it is an aftermarket renickel, half that. sales@countrygunsmith.net
assuming it was nickel plated after market, it would lose value for that reason.....
I purchased one at the Dixie show from a privite collector for $550 but the Festad Blue book of gun values should be of more help.
By the color, obviously. NIckel plated flutes are slightly golden and well, silver plated, they have silver color.
made around 1935. Value is decided by condition the gun is in, markings on the gun, and history of the particular gun.
