The same as a D, one dollar and it's not gold.
One dollar.
The P or D denote where the coin was made. P=Philadelphia Pennsylvania, D=Denver Colorado. If by "gold coin" you're referring to the Sacajawea dollar, it's brass, not gold - just golden colored.
If your coin is 26 mm in diameter with a picture of Sacajawea on the front and a soaring eagle on the back, it's an ordinary circulation dollar. The metal is brass, not gold. Billions were struck so it has no extra value. Feel free to spend it.
None of the Sacagawea dollars regardless of date or mintmark struck for general circulation have more than face value. Only proof and uncirculated collectors coins sold from the Mint have premiums. The composition of the coin is Copper, Zinc, Manganese Brass and Nickel, not Gold.
The coin can't have a P mintmark. The only possible mintmarks are O, S or CC. Please, look at the coin again and post new question.
It isn't a rare coin, isn't struck in gold and is only worth $1.
One dollar.
Your question is confusing because a silver coin can't be made of gold. Assuming you have a large (about 40mm diameter) coin with 1 OZ on the back, it's a bullion piece sold for its silver value, about $17 at current prices.
One dollar.

Unless they show absolutely no ware they are only worth a dollar.
A 1988 Gold $5.00 coin may carry two different mint marks: 'W' or 'P.' Assuming the 'W' coin has remained in uncirculated condition (MS-65), its value is: $210; the 'P' coin was minted in proof condition (PF-65) and its value is: $110.00.
It's still worth one dollar.
No F mint marks, no gold in the coin and it's $1.00
