not likely anyone keeps data on re-pro black powder pistols................
depending on condition $150 - $250
Only for guns manufactured by Colt, Remington, Pietta and some D Pedersoli. Otherwise there are very few published date codes.
No sn data available in the public domain that I am aware of.
To find the age of Pietta guns you would need to know the model and serial number, The blue book of modern black powder values has a section in the back listing manufacture dates based on this. Or let me know the info and I can give you the year made.
if this is an original piece it could be from the civil war years, or slightly younger. I have the same pistol with serial number 17358 and I was told it was from about 1862 time frame maybe earlier. hope that helps
what is the age of a .36 cal pedersoli black powder rifle serial number da89669
There is a strong likelihood that it does not have one. Serial numbers were not required by law on rifles and shotguns until 1968. If the shotgun is a muzzle loader that uses loose powder and shot, it is considered an antique firearm under Federal law, and is not required to have a serial number.
Mine is on left side by site on barrow
You must take it to a gunsmith to find out.
