the value depends on its age and condition. 243 win is not the most desirable caliber, its what my dad (who is a retired gun dealer) called a " Pennsylvania deer rifle". find a gun dealer who works at a local shop. Not gander mountain, they want you to trade it in cheap so they can sell it and ask them what the insurance value is.
