Houston- we have a problem........
To the best of my knowledge, the Victory Model was not made with a 2 inch barrel. The value of ANY gun is based on make model condition and originality. If this is a rebarreled Victory, it will not have a collector's value, but still have a value as a shooter. If it is indeed a factory 2 inch Victory model (V prefix to SN, lanyard loop on butt, etc) and it can be papered by S&W, values would be much beyond the $350 that a standard Victory brings. You may want to check with the folks at the Smith & Wesson forum for their insights, and I may be wrong. If I am, please leave me a note on my message board- I'm not too old to learn.

Your Smith and Wesson model 10 was made between 1982-1983,with the 3 letter prefix to your serial number.
There are no available records to date a Dan Wesson by serial number. Value depends on the model you have. Watch Gunbroker.com .
Late 80s
Need to know caliber, barrel length, and type of action.
c.1982
1983 or so
Depending on condition the model 66 could be valued anywhere from $550-750.
The best that I can do is say that the smith and wesson model 28-2 was made by smith and wesson from 1961-1969.
