If the coin is an authentic Liberty Seated 1873-CC dollar, values of circulated examples run from $4,000.00 to over $60,000.00 depending on the grade.
But, many people mistake the more common Trade Dollar that has the same date and mintmark for one of these coins, the obverse design is very similar.
The best thing to do is take it to a dealer or collector for an accurate assessment.
$738.00 on eBay right now. I have one in-hand.
Check that date again. Morgans didn't come out until 1878.
No 1783 Trade Dollars exist, first year of issue was 1873
It can't be a D mint mark. The Denver mint opened in 1906, and 1873 Liberty Seated dollars were only struck at Philadelphia (no mint mark) and Carson City (CC). Please check your coin again and post a new question.

There were no dollar coins minted in the U.S. in 1986.
Morgan dollars were minted from 1878 to 1904 and in 1921. Your coin is either a Seated Liberty dollar or a Trade dollar. Please see the Related Question for more.
The coin has no collectible value unless you find someone that wants it. But its still has some value just for the silver.
There's no such coin. The last Liberty Seated dollars were struck in 1873. The Morgan series started in 1878.
1873 is the first year of issue for this coin. It was minted at the Philadelphia, San Francisco and Carson City Mints. Assuming it's circulated with no mintmarks, values are from $80.00 to $650.00 depending on the grade of the coin. It needs to be seen for an accurate value. Take it to a coin dealer for assessment of value. Also the entire series of Trade Dollars is known to been counterfeited, so authenticity is needed.
Why is 1873 worth less than 1874 in the same condition?
