If you remember your Roman numerals from elementary school, V stands for 5. The woman is Miss Liberty, so what you have is called a Liberty nickel.

It's not gold, but gold plated. If the plating is original, your coin is what's known as a "racketeer nickel", which is probably the only time a genuine US coin also became a counterfeit. The first Liberty nickels were minted without the word CENTS on the back, so crooks plated them with a small amount of gold and passed them off as "new $5 gold pieces". The Mint quickly modified the design to include the word CENTS but enough of the plated almost-fakes were in circulation that they took on a legendary quality.

The problem today is that some people create new racketeer nickels by plating existing unplated coins. That means there are now "genuine fakes" (the ones plated back in 1883) and modern "fake fakes"! An original racketeer nickel will probably have a very sharp design and may show some wear on the plating, while a modern one may have been made from a more worn coin so the plating will be new but the design will show evidence of circulation. However if the modern faker started with an unworn coin it may be very difficult to tell it from an original.

If your coin doesn't show evidence of wear on the design, it's worth having it inspected by an expert. If the coin is nicely plated but the underlying design isn't sharp you have a modern fake with little collector value.

What is the value of a 1902 coin with a woman wearing a crown and a wreath with V on the back with a wreath on the back of it?

If you remember your Roman numerals from elementary school, V stands for 5. If you look under the V it will say "cents". The woman is Miss Liberty, so what you have is called a Liberty nickel. This design was struck from 1883 to 1912, plus a few unauthorized pieces made illegally (but famously) in 1913. 1902 is a fairly common date for Liberty nickels; yours would retail at about $3 if worn from circulation, up to maybe $30 if almost uncirculated.

What is the history and value of a 1904 coin with a woman on the front with a crown and a v surrounded by a wreath of some sort on the back?

Officially a 'Liberty Five Cent', but usually called a 'V nickel' by collectors. They were minted from 1883 to 1912. You may have seen some headlines a few months ago about a multi-million nickel. That was one of the five minted with this design in 1913. Unfortunately, there were a few more than that (21 million) minted in 1904, so yours is worth about $1.25 if well-worn or maybe $60 if uncirculated.

What is the value of a 1908 Lady Liberty Penny?

There's no such animal. The last Liberty cents were struck in 1857. Cents struck from 1859 to early 1909 bear a stylized image of a native American woman. If that's what you have, its value would be $1 to $7, depending on condition, for a Philadelphia coin (no mint mark), and $55 to $155 for a San Francisco coin (S mint mark under the wreath)
