Not enough information. Is the date missing due to wear? If so, is the coin a Washington quarter or does it have an older design - Liberty standing on the front and a flying eagle on the back, or the head of Liberty on the front and a spread-eagle on the back?
If it's a Washington quarter, look at the edge. If it shows copper then it's a modern quarter and is worth only 25 cents. If the edge is silver colored or it's one of the earlier designs you have a 90% silver coin that might sell for $2.50 or $3 for its metal content.
No US quarters of that date first year was 1796
In order to determine the estimated value of a quarter the date must be known.
The value is currently around 4 cents.

Two types of US quarters with the same date were struck in 1916. A Barber quarter and a Standing Liberty quarter. The values are very different. In the lowest collectible grade, a Barber quarter is $10.00. A Standing Liberty is $2,800.00. Post new question with type of coin.
The date is 1776-1976 and it's only a quarter.
Please post a new question with the date. Structure your sentence like this to ensure an answer- What is the value of a <date>S US quarter?.
The US Mint did not start minting quarter dollars until 1796.

If you mean the value of a US 90% silver quarter? Minimum value, as of 6-4-11, is about $6.56.The collectible value depends on date, grade and mintmark if any.
The US 1827 quarter is considered to be a key date in the series. If you have what appears to be a quarter with this date you should have it authenticated by a dealer or appraiser who is familiar with early US coins. If genuine it could be worth over $40,000, but be prepared to find out that you have a copy or a counterfeit.
1942 is a very common date Washington quarter. Most are only valued for the silver, about $3.60 as of today.
Any silver (pre-1965) US quarter is currently worth at least $5 for its silver content. Then collector value above that depends on factors like the date and condition.
A US quarter has a face value of 25 cents.
The date alone will not determine the value. Many US quarters have values of more than $1,000.00
The U.S. did not strike quarters with the 1975 date. Dual-dated quarters bearing the date 1776-1976 were issued during all of 1975 and 1976 to honor the Bicentennial. If you have a quarter with that date it is either a fantasy piece or a counterfeit and has no numismatic value.
A 1765 US quarter does not exist.
