1920's. Value depends on condition. Typical Batavia Leaders wont get over $500. sales@countrygunsmith.net
There were BATAVIA SPECIAL shotguns, BATAVIA LEADER, etc, made with both steel and damascus barrels. Condition is key, but $300-$400 is realistic. The serial number is 93269.It was bought in 1960.Batavia NY is stamped on it.

I have a shotgun made by Baker Gun company it is sixteen (16) gauge , Model Batavia Leader, Serial Number 16812F and made in Norwich, Connecticut. I would like to know the history of this gun, (date it was made, value, etc.). I would also like to know where to purchase a stock for it. Any help would be appreciated SaltedHog
Making the assumption that you have a Baker Batavia Leader shotgun, the value can be anywhere from $100 to $2000. There are multiple grades of these shotguns, ranging from plain to ornate. With a collectable gun, condition plays a major part in pricing. You need a hands-on appraisal from someone that knows these guns.
this is my favorite bird gun. the value seems to run 250 to 400, depending on the conditon.
Your shotgun was made in 1919. If yours in just the regular slide action then 90% conditon is about $300. You can add 50% more if it has a solid vent rib.
I paid $369.00 for a 1972 AL2 in excellent conditon
