What is the walking distance between the Colorado Bell Hotel and the Riverside Hotel in Laughlan NV?

HI! I used to work in Laughlin NV @ the Riverside Hotel/Casino in 2002-2003 as a cook. I can say this if you're up for a little exercise and some pretty scenery take the walkway along the beautiful Colorado River (safe) all use it. Step out the door of ANY hotel in Laughlin the river is right there! There are a couple of Casino/hotels between the 'Belle"and the Riverside. I can truly say I don't know the exact distance between the two. There are 'river taxi's (pay a small fee- no more than $3.00 a person- at least when I was there). They are incredibly fun!!!!! They are free form The Riverside Hotel in NV across the river to Bullhead City AZ; very short ride but if you're up for an adrenaline rush- do it!!! They're very safe for all ages; they do have a little tip cup aboard- throw them a buck they'll remember you the next ride. Bullhead City is boring but if need to do any necessary shopping - food clothes automotive work souvenirs - there's a Super Wal-Mart-24 hrs. plenty of grocery stores and the stores all people are familiar with. If you have shopping to do take your vehicle- there's only one highway that goes thru town. Cab drivers are very helpful if you need to it that way- they'll wait for you . Don Laughlin- the owner of the Riverside - DEMANDS cab drivers cater to their customers or they don't get to work there anymore. SERIOUS!!! A note- if you stay at The Riverside the water taxi that goes from there to the end of the casinos- Harrah's- it was either free or very cheap. DO take advantage of the water sports the Riverboat cruises lunch or dinner from the 'Belle' the big-name entertainment that varies at all the hotels- VERY CHEAP- I think I paid $12.00 for Loretta Lynn @ the Aquarius (next to the Riverside) and it's outside overlooking the Colorado River; most of the entertainer's have a meet&greet; also. All the food at all hotels is awesome from a light lunch to 'dress-up for an elegant dinner'. Anyways a vacation to Laughlin NV. is a lot cheaper and fun than Las Vegas NV (I live there now); trust me Vegas is costly! So enjoy Laughlin!!!Tamf2.
