Yes, although it is not legal. You can through buying an Acekard 2i for your DSI system. I can't offer you a link, and I do not recommend voiding your warranty.

Your going to have to call Nintendo Support and they will ship you a label to send in your DSi to get it fixed. As far as I'm concerned there is no fees and once you do this your warranty is renewed.

If your dsi freezes during normal usage it means that it is defective and that you should call Nintendo to fix it, if your dsi is still under the 1 year warranty it should be free otherwise it is 70 dollars or more. If it freezes when, say, you bang it against a wall or take out a ds card out of the system when it is using it then you don't deserve to have a dsi. (surrender it to a responsible adult)
