Take it to a garage for a wheel alignment. They have the spec's.
wheelalighnment spec 2008 ford terittory ghia
I thought I had read that it was neutral neither in nor out but am trying to confirm this?
Camber..............1 degree + or - 45min toe........................ 0.04in +or - 0.04in (1+ or - min)
1999 - 2004 Toe is zero, Camber is zero, Caster is 2.5 deg.
According to the factory manual for a YJ the toe-in is set at the following: 1/16 in or 1/16 out Cheers
Wheel alignment should be done by a professional shop. Some places (Town Fair) will not align the rear wheels on a Beretta/Corsica due to ridiculous shop policy, but they canbe done. First, ask around to see if a shop near you installs shims for alignment. Shims of proper size/thickness will need to be installed in specific areas behind the wheel bearings in order to properly adjust the rear wheels. If alignment is extremely out-of-spec, you may have a bad wheel hub, or a bent rear beam. The shop will tell you if this is the case, as they should be replaced.
85lbs
This is caused by not rotating your tires on a regular basis. Also, over-accelerating through corners will wear down your rear tires. Or rear alignment is out of spec.
76 ft lbs is the spec. 80-90ft lbs won't hurt
