The above answer would be true if agricultural drainage, urban runoff, and industrial pollutants, were singular events, but of course they are not. They are pervasive issues that affect areas where there are large human populations, with poorly regulated waste. As well the statement is intentionally misleading and not a useful answer. I do not know the answer, as it likely does change from month-to-month, but certainly: Chowpatty Beach and Goa Beaches in India; Marunda Beach, in Jakarta; Haina, in the Dominican Republic; Repulse Beach, in Hong Kong; Doheny, in the US, would all be on a much longer list of beaches that are continually suffering from un-managed societal waste.
