Unless you joined the Air Force Reserve or Air National Guard, you could be a pilot in civilian life AND be an engineer while youre in the reserve or guard. If you joined active duty Air Force, you could do one job and then after a while you could retrain in another job and do that. Bottom line is that you cant do more than one job at a time in the US military
