My middle school has the WORST lunch. I have never bought it in my life. Here is what would be the choices on an average day:
1. Small PB&J on whole wheat bread, only w/ 'sunflower butter' and wrapped in plastic wrap. probably 3 weeks old...
2. Bagel and yogurt lunch. the bagel in wrapped in plastic wrap and labeled with a bar code. Comes with little container of butter (probably fake) and thingy of yogurt.
3. The special of the day...maybe it's chicken nuggets? You'll get 6 chicken nuggets the size of the bottom of a little bathroom-size cup. No doubt rubbery. Don't really want to try it and find out.
4. And then the extras! A tiny square chunk of cake with poisonberry size blueberries and smooshed whipped cream, in a plastic container like restuarants give you for dressing when you take a salad home. Plus either regular, chocolate, strawberry, or coffee milk...which is suppossed to actually be good. It would surprise me.
All this for $3! Imagine! You could spend three dollars on 6 mini chiken nuggets, a teeny cake bit, and a weird milk...or you could go to the grocery store and get a bag of dried cranberries, a cucumber, brownie mix, and pita chips, for less than $15, and take that to school all week with leftovers from dinner. Save money! And save yourself from the evils of school food!
There isn't really a worst lunch for eduactional purposes. If you mean "Which school lunches will make eduaction more difficult" I'd say unhalthy foods with lots of sugar are most likely not too good for learning at school.
The chloroplast in our school would be food at lunch.
YES!
You get food for thought.
A lunch lady! :) They make food for the students!
ketchup

So students can buy food to eat
WIC, Food Stamps, School lunch, School Breakfast
eat their food like poo and pea
The Victorian poor school children had Rat's vegetables, apple if lucky and other horrible food.
It shouldn't be. A school's food should be tested by some health people to make sure it's safe to eat.
