What is there to know about the DeviantArt portfolio feature?

The deviantART portfolio feature is currently a Beta-tester only feature. To become a Beta-tester you first have to be a subscriber/premium member to the website. There is an option under 'Edit Settings' to check to become a Beta-tester on deviantART.

To see someone's portfolio (has to be a beta-tester's only) simply type into your browser's address bar http://USERNAMEHERE.deviantart.com/portfolio (remember to replace USERNAMEHERE with either your username if you're a beta tester, or the person username with the portfolio you wish to see).

To edit your portfolio, you can go about doing it one of three ways...

Method One:

1) At the top of every deviantART page, there is a little dark green square with an arrow in it, next to your username. Click that arrow. This will bring up a drop-down menu.

2) Click on Portfolio Beta.

3) This will take you to your portfolio. Once there, at the top right of the page, you will see two buttons, Hints and Edits. Click on Edits.

4) This will put your profile in Edit Mode. Here you edit your portfolio's name, description and content. To put in photos to your portfolio (content) you must have artwork in your deviantART gallery. If you do, click on the 'Add Art...' button in Edit Mode.

5) A pop-up window on the same page will come up, showing you thumbs of your art. Click on the ones you want. Once you have, click the 'Ok' button. This will update your content.

6) To edit your portfolio's name or description, place your cursor over whichever typing box you wish to type in and click. Then type in what you wish to say.

7) When you are complete, click the button 'Done' at the top right of the page. This will update your portfolio.

Method Two:

1) Go to your deviantART page. (This can be done by clicking your username at the top left of every deviantART page, or by typing http://YOURUSERNAME.deviantart.com into your browser's address bar)

2) At the 'top' of your userpage, there will be a statistics bar. At the very right end of it, there is a button called 'More'. Click that.

3) This will bring up a drop down menu. Click on Portfolio Beta.

4) Follow steps 3 - 7 of Method one.

Method Three:

1) Type into your broswer's address bar: httpL://YOURUSERNAME.deviantart.com/portfolio

2) Follow steps 3 - 7 in Method One.
