At full load, a synchronous generator will be spinning at synchronous speed, providing real power (watts), and likely some reactive power (vars), or it may be taking reactive power from the system to help hold the system voltage down under light loading conditions.

If you're trying to parallel a transformer with another one to try to cancel out no load losses, you can't do this.
