The starter on your G63B engine is located on the aft side of the block, where the block attaches to the transmission. It is below the intake manifold, and hard to get at. This inaccessibility is why old mechanics hate modern front wheel drive cars. You may be able to get at the starter from under the car. They Should be on the metal plate with your engine info, mine are 25R and FL46

Modern engines with EFI don't have timing marks on the harmonic balancer. Timing is controlled by the ECU and not adjustable. On older cars, yes, we need what engine
