Yes they will. In fact just about any GM seat will interchange. What you do have to do though is use the 3rd gens seat brackets on the replacement seats and the brackets should bolt onto any GM seat as well with no modification.
Should be a bolt in each corner of seat
No. Not without custom brackets. If your gonna put Z32 seats in a Z31 I would spend the money on a nice Recaro racing seat, or other aftermarket seat. Good quality company's like Recaro will make the brackets for the seat to bolt right in. And they look good too.
First thing get your seats in your colour, and if poss get the panel that goes behind each seat. Take out your own panels held in by four plastic plugs, and you should see small bits of tape covering up bolt holes, two halfway up and two near the top, remove the tape. Each seat should come with four brackets, these brackets are attached to the side panel using the now exposed bolt holes. The top two brackets are also attached with four little bolts that go down through from the lip under the side window. Brackets now fitted feed the seat belts through the new side panel and attach to the two lower brackets, then fit the side panels. If you are using your origanal side panels you will have to mark up and make slots for the brackets and seat belts. Now all thats left to do is attach your new rear seats, four bolts through the lower two brackets and one bolt for each of the top brackets, tidy up job done.
under conductor seat on the frame
Ensure seat is properly mounted in all 4 brackets... seat is able to go into brackets 2 different ways, one way being incorrect
I am looking for the same, have an Almond or Bone square toilet seat that I am looking for a new seat but most important the brackets for it. The two brackets that hold the toilet seat top
It will not directly bolt in. you will probably have to do some major modifications, or swap brackets from one seat to the other to make it work. Or you always have the option to buy aftermarket seat rails/sliders and weld them on to the EP seats.
The floor mounts for the bench seat will not match up with the buckets. So, you need two things: 1) a set of floor mount brackets that will have to be welded to the floor and 2) a set of bucket seats witht the proper tracks to match up with the floor mount brackets that you are going to install. While it is true that many of the bucket seats used in Pontiacs, Buicks, Chevs etc were the same or very similar, the seat tracks that bolt the seat to the floor and allow it to move forward and back, are not the same for all those cars. Only 62 to 64 Impala buckets will work in the 62. If you get seats that don't have the right tracks you will have to modify what you have to fit as no one is making these tracks at this time. So, get your floor brackets and get the right seats and bolt them together. Now put the seats in place and move them about until the bottoms of the brackets match up with the countours of the floor. Once you are happy with the position, tack the brackets into place. Remove the seats and weld the rest of the brackets to the floor. Re-mount the seats onto the brackets and YOU"RE DONE!
as I recall, it is underneath the passenger side seat. I am not 100% sure though
There should be two press clips at the front of the seat where both passengers would sit. There could possibly be two 14mm bolt at the base of the seat at the back that will have to be removed also.
you need to push down and back on the front of the bottom seat to remove the clips out of the brackets
