What is true photography?

There is no such thing as a specific answer to this question. What is true to you? Photographs that didn't go through retouching or photoshopping? Photographs that show the reality when most people want to avoid it? The tabloids photograph showing how vulnerable famous people are? It's a tricky question. For me, true Photography goes beyond the image. It's the imagery that speaks to you without saying a word. One look and you feel something about it. It speaks to you using no words.
