∙ 12y agoTruncating is cutting something short, normally because it cannot be fitted into a cell. This can be done with data in a spreadsheet. Data may be rounded up to shorten it. If text is in two cells beside each other and the text is too long to fit into the first cell, then the text will be truncated and you will not see the rest of the text.
