Separate and unequal.
Unequal distribution of income, discrimination against non-traditional genders, access to water, fair labor practices, religious reformation......
apartheid in south Africa was started by the arrival blacks in south Africa and due to the history of slavery blacks were treated as unequal to the white minority and the black majority was ruled by a white government with racist Secretary laws
The end didn't lead to segregation, the racism of Southerners did. The North winning the war did nothing to change Southerners views on Blacks. So they formed the KKK, terrorized anyone trying to help Blacks, and did all they could to keep Blacks at the bottom of Southern society and unequal. Segregation was simply a logical end to these racist beliefs.
"Separate but Equal is inherently unequal". Separating schools based on race is unconstitutional based upon the 14th Amendment to the U.S Constitution.
No because lets say some countries there are some beggers it is fair enough they get to live in that country but it is not equal that rich people have mansions, cars, body gaurds e.t.c.those on the streets will find this unequal. Another example the time period when black and whites were separate blacks would at least have schools, houses, offices e.t.c but whites would have everything blacks had but better. that was very unequal. But mostly there should not be rich and poor
The Jim Crow laws were very common especially in the South. There were drinking fountains that were just for whites or blacks. Blacks had to sit in the back of a bus. Blacks are not allowed to eat with whites. Blacks usually went to the same church as other blacks. Interracial marriage was illegal.
The two sums of money are unequal. They split the pie unequally. Unequal cake cutting can be devastating. Fernando did not try to make the cookies of unequal size.
The wife of a Patriot who wrote to her husband about the unequal treatment of blacks and women during the American Revolution is Abigail Adams. In her famous letter dated March 31, 1776, she urged her husband, John Adams, to "remember the ladies" and consider their rights in the new laws being formed. Abigail's advocacy highlighted the social inequalities of her time, emphasizing the need for greater recognition of women's and enslaved people's rights.
My hearing seems to be unequal.
