To make animation you could go custom anamtion and add effect or make a object with shapes and then copy side as much you need and if make body try click on it and make it move. It totally wrok for me
well you can do this in 2 ways, by making gifs or by doing what you would do for a flipbook (each slide the object moves a little bit)make loads of them then view slideshow and hold down right on the keyboard which makes it go through the slides really fast like a flip book
Powerpoint is presentation software, not animation software. You can do some limited animations in it, but you can't really make Cartoons with it. You would use actual animation software if you wanted to do that. You can import cartoons and have them as part of your presentation.

It seems that you are talking about animations used in PowerPoint, which is used to make slideshows and presentations. Here, an animation scheme refers to making objects on a slide to move about in various ways. While a custom animation is a facility you can use to determine how long you would like the animation scheme to go on; i.e. how long will your selected object or textbox move for.
I like to tell you basic Types of Animation. Stop animation is a technique to make objects move on their own. Computer Animation is the latest technique of animation that includes 2D and 3D animation. 2D is used through PowerPoint and Flash animations and 3D is used in film making where we require unusual objects or characters that are not easy to display.
Hyperlinks cause the selection of an object to result in a move to a new location or the performance of an action.
Go into the transitions or animations and increase the timings. The other thing to do is turn off the timer and just use progression by mouse click. Then you can move to the next slide or start an animation when you want to.

These can be animated in a variety of ways.Custom animation can be used to create small story boards by animating pictures to enter, exit or move.
