It depends on how old. Plate blocks after 1930 are mostly worth just a little over face value at the wholesale level, but there are exceptions-- sometimes I see ads from dealers wanting to buy certain issues at 2 times faces, or maybe more.
Retail, if you have the means to sell at retail, the price starts around face and goes up from there, depending on the stamp.
Depends on the stamp and the plate numbers. Since the 40's, many people saved plate blocks from their sheets of stamps. Many of them are very common and can be purchased for about 5 times face value. Consult a specialized catalog to find specific values.
Try stamp dealers. Most are willing to buy mint postage for about 60 or 75 percent of face value. Unless they are specifically rare plate blocks, most are going to have minimum value. Check a catalog and identify the stamps to see if they have something valuable.
