20 what of gold? Grams? Ounces? Pounds? Without knowing the weight of your gold bar/round, it is impossible to answer your question.
It's a copy of a Blake & Company $20 gold piece. Only 2 authentic coins of this type and date exist. The piece has little or no value.
Please check the date again and post new question. Most of the Blake & Company gold rush replica coins are dated 1855.
Back in the 60s they handed out thousands of these to promote car dealerships it is modeled after the California gold peice, most likely its a proof and worth a few dollars
The value of a Blake and Company Assayers 20 gold coin from 1855 with a gold content of 0.900 would depend on factors like its condition, rarity, and collector demand. As a rough estimate, its value may be based on the current market price of gold and numismatic premium attached to the specific coin's characteristics. It is advisable to consult with a coin expert or appraiser for a more accurate valuation.
Value is for the gold only.

A U.S. $20 double eagle contains .96750oz of pure gold. The value just for the gold, today is about $1,200.00. The numismatic value depends on the date, mintmark and grade of the coin.
Without knowing more about the coin I can only guess about what it is. If it is dated 1855 you may have a Blake & Co. $20 coin. If so it would say Blake & Co. Assayers on one side. The SAC is an abbreviation for Sacramento. As to its value, if it was real, it would be very high but, since there are only 2 known to exist, yours is probably a copy. Many of these copies were produce by Chrysler Corp. in the late 1960's as an advertising campaign for one of their cars. The word "copy" should be on the coin somewhere. But since new discoveries are made occassionally, take your coin to a dealer who can probably tell you exactly what you have.

Silver plated antiques and jewelry have little value to collectors, and no scrap value at all. Silver assayers won't take it because the cost of recovering the tiny amount of silver (about .20 mm surface thickness) is more than the value of the metal itself.Standard Exchange policy: "Please note we cannot accept silver plated, gold plated or gold filled items. These items may be beautiful, but they unfortunately do not have any precious metal content to speak of. Even their value as antiques, collectibles, or jewelry is minimal right now due to the economy."
The first circulating $20 gold pieces were made in 1850.
