The 1995 Schrade Scrimshaw Of The Great American Outdoors set consisted of the following seven patterns / art:
502SC - 7 ½" Sharpfinger fixed blade pattern Antelope on the Praire art
503SC - 3 7/8" Gunstock Trapper pattern with three Crappie fish art
505SC - 4" Premium Stockman pattern with flying Pheasant art
507SC - 5" Lockback pattern with Mountain Lion art
513SC - 3" Lockback pattern with Raccoon in tree art
515SC - 4" Lockback pattern with flying Osprey art
296SC - 4 1/8" two blade Trapper pattern with Beaver art
The knives were issued in several ways: A set of seven in a wooden gift/display box and as individual knives in fold-down boxes. Most year issues were limited to 1,500 serialized sets and 1,500 individual knives.
The value of these sets has increased since the company, Imperial Schrade Corporation (the world's largest cutlery manufacturer) declared bankruptcy in 2004. The collectable knife market is very dynamic with large swings in prices paid for sets over short periods of time. Collector's Price Guide books are rather "iffy" in that they really only reflect what the author "thinks" the value should be, and are often outdated by the time they are published. Your best bet for finding a current market value is to search venues where these have sold recently such as eBay. All this said, the latest ones I have seen sold went for around $200 as of July 2007.
