What is value of work certified?

The Work Certified Program is not just an assessment! Through years of research we found you cannot teach work ethics, self-esteem, team building and other important issue about employment on-line, it must be done in the classroom with computers as an aid. Work Certified is unique as it transforms the classroom into a business, the instructor becomes the employer and each student the employee.

They must demonstrate competencies/universal competencies.

Demonstrated Competencies/ Universal Competencies

Each member must master 59 competencies to be eligible to take the certification exam. If they fail even one competency they are not eligible for certification. Included are the five competencies that the members must demonstrate proficiency throughout the entire program:

1) Have no more than two excused absences. Excused absences must be determined as an emergency by the Instructor and arranged prior to a scheduled class. Members who have more than two excused absences are not permitted to take the certification exam.

2) Have no more than three instances of excused tardiness (late to class, leaving early, taking a longer lunch, etc.) Excused tardiness is determined an emergency by the Instructor and arranged prior to a scheduled class. If a member has more than three excused tardies and one unexcused tardy he/she is not eligible to take the certification exam.

3) Demonstrate proper grooming throughout the entire program.

4) Demonstrate effective use of interpersonal skills when dealing with a supervisor by interacting respectfully and professionally with all Instructors throughout the entire program. Instructors are considered the members' supervisor.

5) Demonstrate effective use of interpersonal skills when dealing with coworkers by interacting respectfully and professionally with all members throughout the entire program. Classmates are considered the members' co-workers.
