The U.S. Mint has never issued a dollar coin with those dates on it.
New Zealand only issued a Twenty Dollar coin in 1995 and 1997.
The only Kennedy half dollars to have a reverse of Independence Hall were struck for the Bicentennial with the dual dates 1776-1976. The coins were issued in 1975 & 1976.

Please check your coin again. President Eisenhower was on the $1 coin issued during the Bicentennial. JFK was (and is) on the half dollar.
None of the Bicentennial coins issued for general circulation have more than face value.
The 1976 proof sets sell in the $8 range. The Ike proof dollar by itself would be around $4.

That particular series of the Kennedy Half Dollar was stamped 1776 – 1976 to commemorate the Bi-Centennial anniversary celebrating 200 years of freedom.Bicentennial quarters and dollars also have double dates. These coins were issued in both 1975 and 1976, but all carry the 1776-1976 dates. The only coins to carry a 1975 date were cents, nickels, and dimes.
