Is cotton gauze warm in winter?
The Cotton gauze I have seen is usually for warmer weather. Those who have worn even "winter" cotton gauze have said it is NOT very warm. All of the cotton gauze that I have seen is only suited for summer wear, unless you are wintering in the Southern Hemisphere or the south when it's having a warm spell. The word gauze automatically makes me think of cotton bandages, which are basically made of thin, see-through fabric and not intended to keep the body warm unless multiple layers are used. I'd check reviews of it on Amazon.com or other clothing sites.
How do I get the Gauze off that stuck to my toenail bed?
I have no idea. I have the same problem. I has a toe nail avulsion and nail removed and now gauze is stuck to the nail bed. I cant get the gauze removed even after extensive warm salt water soaking. I guess the answer is soaking and waiting for the nail bed to heal. I am so confused.

If you ignite the flame beneath the gauze and lower the gauze into the flame, the flame will not pass above the gauze. Yet, if you light both below and above the gauze you will have flame on both sides. Indicating that flames impinging on the gauze do not burn the gas completely and the gas will pass through the gauze.
