It depends on where the white spots came from. Some come from climbing or grabbing onto items like bars or ropes. Some can also come from the sun. If from climbing and so, than it will just go away in a week or so.

If you look at your throat and see white spots on it that is strep. Go see a doctor for either condition.
I don't know about raspberries but they do go after apples and they have a very different sting to them when they strick.
