Answer:For forty years, the Israelites gathered manna in God's test of their obedience, with no manna on the seventh day (Ex.16). For forty years, God taught them the seven-day week, the observance of the Sabbath and drummed it into their routine. A routine quite different from their past 400 years in slavery.Moses continued to enforce the laws of God among the people, delegated authority to others to assist him in his task, and made judgments among the people over disputes... and communed with God on behalf of the people. It was pretty much everyday, routine leadership stuff in the day-to-day goings on in the lives of the Hebrews as they made encampments, packed up and moved to new encampments... till the day he died.
I have never heard the name before, outside of the TV series "Saving Grace," in which the main character is Grace Hanadarko (played by Holly Hunter). I have to wonder if it's a variation on the town of Anadarko, Oklahoma. Saving Grace is set in Oklahoma City. Wikipedia says that "anadarko" is a corruption of the Caddoan (American Indian) word "nadako" which mean place of bumblebees, so I guess you could say it's a Caddoan name. The same Wikipedia article says that the population of the town of Anadarko has a high percentage of Native Americans (41%), has a Lenape tribal government in town, hosts an annual Native American Exposition, and that it once had a tough, lawless reputation. That may have been what the writers were trying to suggest by naming the main character of the series Hanadarko, someone with a frontier toughness and wildeness, but also a mystical side.
habitat loss-when a rainforest is made into cattle pasture, a meadow made into a small parking lot, a swamp draining for house etc.habitat fragmentation-a road cuts across wildeness areas, and as building projects expand into new areas, many habitats are becoming virtual islands.biotic issues- some organisms that need large areas to gather food. large predators cannot obtain enough food if they are restricted to a small area.Abiotic issues- another problem with habitat fragmentation is that it can change the climate of the area. a tropical rain forest is canopy and moist, now suppose loggers came in and cut everything down, except for a plot of land. the once moist and shady area is now exposed to sunlight and winds and the area dries out.
