That's just the Orange Guy. He is our site's mascot. He was designed by Leo Blanchette. The Orange Guy was first used in a promo ad, and after that, he moved to a few awards and certificates.
Leo Blanchette created the orange guy who is the "mascot" of WikiAnswers and many other sites. For more information about the orange guy look at the related link below.
Orange is a motif of WikiAnswers; this stems mainly from the Orange Guy, the WikiAnswers Community Mascot. However, depending on the primary contributions of a user, orange is not necessarily the most common color.
he is not.
I think Chris Whitten, the creator of WikiAnswers, had a really great idea - why not name him the coolest WikiAnswers person?
because SOME people like orange, thank you very much!
Probably blue and green... and maybe a bit of orange.
WikiAnswers's logo is called the Orange Guy.
WikiAnswers isn't a person capable of feelings or emotions. In fact, it isn't a person at all. It is contributors that work on the WikiAnswers website that give the answers to asked questions and not someone named WikiAnswers. So the obvious answer to that question would be no, WikiAnswers can not and does not love you.
A person can become an Expert contributor in Wikianswers by asking and answering a lot of questions.
If you connect your Facebook to your Answers account, your Facebook profile pic will replace the orange man.
Click on a question - click the big orange 'answer it' button - and type your answer. Not forgetting to press the orange 'Save' button to save your work !
For now, you cannot relink a different picture to your WikiAnswers account profile picture, but if you used a social networking site such as Facebook, your profile picture on facebook will be the profile picture replacing the orange guy on your WikiAnswers page. For an example, I linked my Yahoo email to my WikiAnswers account, and the picture I have on Yahoo will be the picture on my WikiAnswers profile (check it out if you want).
