Creatine is a product that increases water weight so it bulks you up at first that way. Protein depending on what kind can cause stomach bloating or gas in the small intestines. When and how you are taking the supplements is very important. As someone under the age of 20 I would not recomend taking creatine there are amino acids out there that will be a better choice because you are still in your growth years. You should not have been allowed to purchase creatine yourself, and there is a reason. Granted it's better than steroid use, but you can gain better results from glutamine or a nice combination of amino acids. Go do research on the effects of most amino's and muscle growth, joints, and many other benefits your body will get from them.
