For the 1999 Ford expedition it is recommended that you use the Ford Premium engine coolant which is green in color. You should not use the Ford extended life engine coolant which is orange in color.
The engine coolant drain plug, on a 1998 Ford expedition, is located on the bottom of the radiator. The drain plug will come out by turning to the left.
To circulate coolant through the engine block, radiator and passenger compartment heater core.
