It is not the stereo. Behind the stereo there is a relay switch for the turn signals. It is going out and needs to be replaced. Autozone has the part about $30-$40

Are you sure it is off. sounds like the turn signal pall is broken and the turn signal is not being canceled. The part that they replaced cost me around a hundred bucks, i borught the car back and they said they have replaced the wrong part, and the part that needed to be replaced cost around $300-400, so i didnt have it changed, but after some time the clicking noise stopped, and i don't have any issues now. my girlfriends 01 jetta makes the same clicking noise now, but i am not going to replace anything because its gonna go away... some day :). She used to have a grand am, and the grand am was a lot more annoying... it even wouldn't stop at all sometimes. my advice is ... don't pay the money to have it fixed... it is just a little annoying sometimes
