its broken. Have your spark plugs and wires checked. It sounds like you have one or more spark plugs that are not firing or are firing poorly. This may be the result of faulty wires or fouled plugs. You probably need new plugs and maybe new wires.
get the lifters checked.
Your question is very confusing. If the car runs then it has to start. Please clarify.
Sounds like your timing is off
timing or carb
lens cover is very hard to pull off, I don't want to break it, is there somethind I am doing wrong?
Same thing went wrong with my 96.... the selenoid in the transmission had gone out. This is a dealer part, but I purchased mine @ Daaco.
check or change the spark plugs & wires
I have a 95 Dodge Intrepid that has the same problem. On my Dodge The circuit board is fried. Capacitors, diode and tracing burned off board. If you don't have any blown fuses. Then yours could also be fried. I Checked with the local dealer and they want $691 just for the part. https://www.trademotion.com wants $486 for it. Or you could visit your local juck yard and find one. any 93-96 Intrepid, LHS or Concorde should work, according to the dealer.
Start by reading the stored code. Use a code scanner to read the computer codes and you'll get a prety good idea of what's wrong.
One or more fuses have blown.
This can be a number of problems. There are so many things that can be wrong when a car doesnt start. Here are the most common on a Intrepid. 1. Dead Battery 2. Wiring is Shot 3. Ignition Switch 4. Relay Module is not putting out the right voltage 5. Bad Starter 6. Bad Spark Plugs I have a 1993 Dodge Intrepid and right now it's having the same problem. It starts every now and then but i was told it's the Ignition Switch. Give those 6 a look and report back.
Can be many things. Take the car to an auto parts store and they will scan the ECU for the trouble codes that will help you determine what is wrong.
