Find an ammeter to find out what the starter is pulling. If the starter is pulling too much current, you probably need to replace the starter, but don't just go off replacing parts until you test them. Apparantly that plan didn't work to well for you when you replaced the battery and alternator. Always test first!

What is the role of a Alternator Repairer?

The alternator of a car is responsible for charging the car battery. Someone who repairs a broken alternator ensures that the alternator works again and continues to keep the car battery charged.

no you cannot kill your alternator by switching your battery from one car to another

Does a dead battery cause the alternator to not work after it is charged?

A battery is nothing more than a storage device for electric power. The alternator changes the kinetic energy given off by the engine into electrical energy. If the battery can be charged and store energy but the battery keeps discharging after you use the vehicle, check the alternator. If someone accidentally reversed polarity EVEN BRIEFLY while jump-starting the vehicle the diode plate is probably destroyed and you will have to replace or repair the alternator.

How do you jumpstart BMW r1150?

Put it in 2nd gear, clutch in, key on, have someone push you or roll down a declining hill then release the clutch at speed. I wouldn't suggest a jump by battery, rather recharge it or replace with new then start it. You may strain the alternator with a failing battery and will have to replace that too.

Can someone tell me why the battery keeps dying even though i have replaced the alternator?

Is it new? if it is it's not the battery. If it's really old your battery most likely is leaking.

Why does the battery light go on in a 1997 Ford Taurus station wagon when a rebuilt alternator has recently been installed and the battery was replaced less than a year ago?

Could be a bad signal sent by the computer or the alternator is not charging to full capacity. Have someone check the charging amps on the alternator.

What is wrong when a battery will not hold charge when driving causing lose of lights and power?

If the battery is less than 4 or 5 years old. the most likely reason's are 1- The alternator not working at all. 2 - the belt to the alternator broke. 3 - cables at the battery are corroded. 4 - the battery can be almost completely dead. To check alternator. Get a jump from someone, if car starts, check the voltage at battery terminals. It should read approximately 15 volts. with all connections and belts OK. If it reads below, say 13 volts, then alternator or voltage regulator is no good. If it starts with a jump, and alternator reads OK ,then let engine run for about 15 minutes. stop engine and check voltage across terminals, it should be 12.5 volts. IF below 12.4 volts, replace battery, but first do a battery drain test. Disconnect negative battery terminal, with all accessories off, connect a test light to battery clamp and negative post, if light comes on, there is a short, discharging the battery.

What would cause a car to stall when bright lights turned on and air blowing after a new battery is installed?

Perhaps an alternator test is in order. Typically, when the motor is running, the car gets it electricity from the alternator, not the battery. (At least that's the way it used to be, someone correct me if I'm wrong)
