Sounds like you have power but the grid is down. Unusual the bulbs are working. You must have 2 circuits. The grid is nothing more than a metal cage & anyone with some elec. knowledge should be able to repair for you. As a temporary remedy, you can put a glueboard in the drawer to catch the flies, since they will still be drawn to the light.
