A strong gas oder and loss of power usually indicates a flooding condition. first of all, check the choke and make sure it is loose and not sticking. Check all the linkage on the carb as well. The air filter may also be clogged. Does it run better with it removed? Check the exhaust as well. You may have a blockage there as well. To try that, remove the exhaust pipe at the manifild and see how it runs. If it's better, replace the exhaust. It may also ne time for a tuneup. When was the last time the plugs, wires, cap and rotor was replaced? Try those things.
I have the 1994 Mazda 626 LX and it has it
It depends on what is wrong with them
Being I own a 87 b2200 se5 with a manual 5spd myself .The chiltons manual states for the 2.0 engine however the difference should not matter unless I am wrong and the gear ratio is 3.31:1.If this is really in question check with your local Mazda dealer the parts department can defenitely tell you what it is.I just do not have any specs beyond the basic haynes or chiltons I own.
bright
ABSOLUTELY. CHANGE THE TIME BELT WHEN NEEDED. NOT WORTH THE CHANCE, of DESTROYING THE ENGINE. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. NON interference. wrong information is worse than no information at all
transmission needs replacing more than likely that what happen to my 626 it will only get worse go to machanic immedialty
its supposed to theres nothing wrong with it
It either works or it doesnt
You drained the wrong fluid, or they did
could need a tune up---plugs, wires, fuel filter & air filter...good inexpensive way to start
it is nothing wrong with the car. The Japanese use different accelerator gauges than the Americans do (Toyota fiasco) with the Mazda the R9 accelerator gauge is very touchy. If you floor it, the pedal will miss the top speed marker. If you let up, i9t will go back close to the sensor. I know this because my friend had the same problem with his mx3 and when we took it to break cheak, they said it was normal on the Mazda and nothing was wrong with it, 50 bucks for nothing.
Turbos gone bro :S
