If you do suspect that something is wrong with your convict cichlid, or if you want to learn how to take care of convict cichlids. Be sure to check the article that I posted in the related links. It helped me raise 3 sets of babies that came from 2 convict cichlids. After reading the article, I successfully raised over 100 convict cichlid babies and believe it or not, all of them are still living in the tank. Its quite a site to see that many cichlids swimming together in a fish tank. But be warned - when convict cichlids are breeding, they get very aggressive. Especially toward any other kind of fish.
