Win what? be more specific. If you mean in a territorial dispute, an adult fighting fish will get eaten (literally) by and adult convict cichlid. but if the cichlid and the fighting fish are of the same size then the fighting fish would be at an advantage.
depends if the bigger fish is aggressive
The cast of Zona 22 - 2008 includes: Mikhail Bondarev as Exercising Convict Nikita Klyuchko as Fighting Convict Kirill Kravtsov as Fighting Convict Slava Lukyanenko as Fighting Convict Nikolay Yeriomin as Exercising Convicts Abuser Denis Yurchenko as Fighting Convict
The fish is food. Please don't try this at home.
They would not fight anyway. Male Bettas will only fight with male Bettas. The Convict Cichlid is a much larger fish than the Betta and has a much larger mouth in proportion too than the Betta so I would assume that if they were to fight the Betta would not stand a chance.
yes
Bigger fish
No, fighting fish (Bettas) are only interested in fighting with other fighting fish.
Of course they can. How else would we have fighting fish.
'Japanese fighting fish' 'Chinese fighting fish' 'Siamese fighting fish' and 'Betta' are all names given to the 'Betta splendens'.
Yes but it is best if they are of opposite sex and similar size. Small groups can get along OK provided the aquarium is large enough.
It is quite possible that the Convict cichlid would kill a fish as small and slow as a Betta. I would not try to mix other peaceful species with large aggressive fish like Convicts.
Fighting Fish do eat each other so, yes
