∙ 12y agoIn everyday usage, people are often imprecise in their use of the term cousin and don't call them 2nd or 3rd cousins, but use the terms "cousin," "niece" or "nephew" for any relative who is not a parent, child, sibling, grandparent or grand child.
However, when using relationship terms with precision, the child of your father's first cousin is your first cousin, once removed.
