R5 describes the rarity of a coin, not what it is. On a scale of R1 to R10, R5 means "Scarce".
Ungraded, the first day cover with the proof coin is selling for round about R1600 - R1800 per coin. You can pick up a graded proof coin for R1000 and upwards, depending on the grade. The proof 68 is selling for about R1500 and the proof 69 for about R1800 - R2500. In my opinion you should buy as many of the first day covers as you can, get them graded and hold on to them for at least 5 to 10 years. I'm not able to tell you what they will be worth, but I can tell you they will be worth a lot more. Stay far away from uncirculated and circulated coins. These coins will NEVER be worth more than R5.
