Corllin is an online university offering degree programs in various disciplines.

it's a useless certificate and I have some emails from their consultant saying the certificate is useless.

I have some recorded calls as well.

I suggest you not to apply for it.

Ranking systems are just another form of peer review systems. In order to take part in these ranking programs universities and colleges actually pay the organizations conducting these evaluations. Much like accreditation but way quicker. However, these ranking systems are designed to evaluate schools and colleges with physical campus. It is difficult for them to evaluate online universities and schools on the same criteria as traditional school and colleges. There are factors such as size of a classroom which are highly relevant for a traditional campus based school but irrelevant in case of an online university.

From a business standpoint, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) has given Corllins University a grade of "F", for serious complaints about misrepresentations in its advertisements and failure to refund moneys when it promised to do so. See the Related Link below for more information.

From an educational point of view, Corllins claims accreditation from the Global Accreditation Bureau (GAB) (see their below Related Link), but it, too, is unrecognized as an accreditation agency according to the below Related Link. There are on-line schools accredited by agencies approved by the Distance Educational and Training Council (DETC) who checks on a schools programs for adherence to approved standards.

Corllins is an accredited university, but its accreditation does not come from an USDE or CHEA recognized accrediting agency, so it does not follow that on this basis, it is not a scam.
