What is your opinion of the lesser priced Tarus 44 mag Model 44SS4 vs the Ruger Redhawk?

Well the obvious difference is NOT just price. In my opinion having owned and shot both the Taurus is by far the better revolver! More streamlined, smoother action, better fit and finish, more durable. The Ruger seems only good if want to part with the extra money for an inferior firearm. But if you like chunky and clunky and overpriced go with the Ruger! It really is a shame to see Ruger's once legendary quality go to pot after Bill Ruger's death. I fear they may not get that reputation back until they tighten up quality control at Ruger. Taurus has them beat hands down.
