Albeit under different management and ownership, and with different equipment and programming, GMA7 became the Philippines' third television station when it began broadcasting on October 29, 1961. Almost 50 years later, it has survived major challenges to its continued existence. One such formative challenge was the station's shutdown under martial law, 1972-1974. Two such expensive challenges have been the transmission increasesfirst to 50,000 watts through the 777 foot/237 meter Tower of Power, and then to 100,000 watts through the switch to the Tandang Sora facility in Quezon City. And now there's the challenge of dropping analog, in favor of digital broadcasting, by 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2015. GMA 7's not unexpected response is application for a digital TV license from the National Telecommunications Commission. The plan is use of digital terrestrial TV and digital mobile TV broadcasts through the channel 27 [548-554 HMz] frequency. And just under half a dozen each of cities and areas already have been identified for temporary digital broadcasting. So GMA7 appears once again to have coping strategies in place to deal with just another challenge in the course of five decades of business in the Philippines.

How do you determine Mixed Signals?

if you are getting signals from someone and you're not sure what they mean by those signals I wouldn't say that's mixed signals I'd just say they were confusing signals. however if you get a clear signal from someone and then another clear signal/reaction that contradicts it, then you would have received mixed signals.

Where does reaction time come from in the body?

Reaction time in the body is a result of a complex coordination between the brain, nervous system, and muscles. It involves processing sensory information, sending signals to the appropriate muscles, and executing a response. Factors like genetics, age, fatigue, and distractions can also influence reaction time.

How do synapses affect reaction time?

Synapses play a critical role in determining reaction time by transmitting electrical or chemical signals between neurons. The efficiency of synaptic transmission can impact the speed at which signals travel through the nervous system, affecting overall reaction time. Stronger or more efficient synapses can lead to faster response times, while weak or impaired synapses may result in slower reaction times.

Does a battery cause a chemical reaction in a remote?

Yes, a battery causes a chemical reaction to occur in a remote. The chemical reaction involves the movement of electrons from one electrode to another, generating an electric current that powers the remote control.

What explains why the flex reaction is important in certain situations?

It takes time for signals to travel all the way to the brain and relex actions bypass that.

Is a person's reaction time controlled by the brain?

Yes, a person's reaction time is controlled by the brain. The brain processes information received from the environment and sends signals to the muscles to respond accordingly. Faster reaction times can be influenced by factors such as practice, genetics, and overall health of the brain.

How are stimulations converted into electrical signals in human eyes?

When light hits the photoreceptor cells (rods and cones) in the retina of the eye, it triggers a chemical reaction that leads to the generation of electrical signals. These signals are then sent through the optic nerve to the brain for processing and interpretation, allowing us to see and perceive visual information.

Why is 4 pair cable twisted?

This method is utilized to stop magnetic field inter reaction (induction) between the signals that are carried on the other pairs.

What makes you think?

Neurons carry chemical signals to the brain; there it is interpreted. Most decision making and problem solving (thinking) takes place in the frontal lobe of the brain. Your brain interprets signals and figures out an answer or reaction to the information gathered from your body and senses.
