Uh, they're your mother and father. Their relationship to each other does not change their relationship to you. Your parents are your parents regardless.
A grandfather / grandpa / grandpap is the father of either your mother, or your father. If it is your father's dad, that man is your Paternal grandfather. If it is your mother's dad, he is your Maternal grandfather. So you have 2 sets of grandparents, one set on your dad's side of the family, and one set on your mother's side of the family.
Answer 1:Fred would be cousins with Mary's Father.Answer 2:Since Mary's Mom is Fred's Aunt, her husband would be his Uncle.
That person would be either me or my sister...if the cousin of me great uncle was my great grandfather. If the cousin was another of my great uncles, then the person would be my cousin. Example 1: My dad has a brother who is my uncle. That uncle has a father who is my great uncle. If his father or mother had sisters or brothers who had kids, these kids would be cousins to this great uncle. one of them could be my grandfather. so my grandfather's granddaughter would be me if I am a girl or my sister if I am a boy. Example 2: In any level of the family tree there can be cousins...children of my uncle or aunt. when they have kids they are second cousins...children of first cousins. If these second cousins have kids, they all are third cousins. So since my great uncle had a cousin which was 2 generations above me...the next generation would be second cousins and the third generation would be third cousins. If my grandfather was not the cousin in question, then the cousin would be someone else on the same generation level, 2 levels above me and the granddaughter would be on my level and therefore my third cousin.
They are also your 1st cousin.
The son of your dad's first cousin is your second cousin. 1. First cousins share two of the same grandparents. 2. Second cousins share the same great-grandparents but not the same grandparents.
Your first cousin's grandchild is your first cousin, twice removed. Your second cousin's grandchild is your second cousins, twice removed. Your third cousin's grandchild is your third cousin, twice removed.
There is no relationship, since genealogy is the study of blood relationships, but you could call them cousins-in-law.
Two people who share the same great great grandparents are third cousins. To find a cousin relationship, find the common ancestor. If common ancestor is grandparents, they are 1st cousins. If common ancestor is great-grandparents, they are 2nd cousins. If common ancestor is great-great-grandparents, they are 3rd cousins.
