Jason was the Prince of Thessaly whose throne was taken over by his evil uncle. In order to reclaim his rightful place on the throne, he was set the task to bring back the magical Golden Fleece. So he sets off for many adventures in his ship called The ARGO. His crew was called The ARGOnauts.
The Greek hero Jason and his crew the Argonaurs. Jason was not a demi-god but he was the rightful heir to the throne of Iolcus.
