There were many jobs in Pompeii there were Merchants, farmers, fisherman, market stall workers, slaves, bakers, craftsmen, barbers and obviously many more.

Because the main business in Pompeii was agriculture and farming, everyone in Pompeii ate bread , but there would of been a lot of competition between the bakers.

Pompeii was close to the sea so there were fisherman, but the fisherman weren't poor they made a good living and were prosperous.
